Largest Industrial Spill in US History

In December, the US suffered its worst environmental accident in over a decade. Billions of gallons of toxic sludge were strewn across East Tennessee after a coal ash dump ruptured.

Who was the responsible party? Some evil greedy business? No, it was the Federal government and its Tennessee Valley Authority. Just another example of the government not protecting people from harm as it promises.
